My pillar of support and strength, my partner in crime! @ross_jaeger 😁💜💖 Inspired by @lastel.r's series! 😄
Drawing a lot of full paintings in a short time can quickly lead to feeling tired/feeling stiff/no flow. It's important to draw stuff you can experiment on or relax with as an artist, because a lot of your work is based on building confidence in making each piece the best of what you want to convey!
I've been feeling burnt out with painting and thinking and planning out lots of larger artworks so sketching out something quick, small and personal helps me to get the flow/movement out, and plough through it rather than be stagnant and trying to make a drawing work. It isn't always going to be the most refined or best sketches, but just something that has essence ^^
Commission progress is slowed because I don't want to rush them when I feel like this! 😁 I will pick up the pace again once I feel refreshed with my art again, it doesn't take
